My Rotator Cuff Surgery
Oct 16, 2006 I had my surgery. It was out patient and everything went very well. I was surprised at how good I felt afterwards. But then comes the reality. The pain is in physical therapy... They stretch you and move you until it hurts. No Pain No Gain. That must be where it came from. I still cant sleep very well at night, I keep trying to sleep without the pain killer and Sleeping pill. About 4 am I finally get out of bed and give up take my medicine and go right to sleep. I don't like taking drugs of any kind but I really got worried the other day when I kept trying to get ahold of my Dr for a refill on my sleeping pills. He finally called back about 5:00 pm. I was so thankfull. My Pain medication I only take 1/2 one before I go to sleep, that is when it hurts the most. As for Therapy I can move most everything in the Forward motion, now it's time to work on the backwords motion. Trying to reach behind me is very painfull. But then again that' s where this all started. Trying to tie my apron, or anything like that. And at night I wasnt able to sleep because of the shoulder pain. I have lots of new exercise toys to work out with at home. I still havnt gone back to work yet, we'll see what the Dr has to say on my next visit the 17th of Nov.
Kaycie gets her Teeth Cleaned
Last week I took Kaycie over to Aimie's school for her 1st teeth cleaning. Kaycie wasn't sure about having the instruments in her mouth at first but Aimie let her see the instruments and feel them so she wouldnt be afraid and then she allowed her to clean her teeth. Kaycie was a typical 3 year old squirming around her chair asking questions. Aimie finally finished after 2 hours and Kaycie was very happy with her Very clean teeth. She could hardly wait to get home and tell Papa and mother about her visit. I was with her the whole time and took lots of photos and video so she could rember what a great time it was to be in Aimie's chair.

She went last month for her Patriarchal Blessing. And soon after so did Glen and Myself. In the next few weeks Aimie will be getting hers. Glen and I have already got our Temple Recomends and are planning on going through on our 34th Wedding Anniversary Dec. 16th. Congratulations Jennifer, God Bless You.
Skin Cancer
In June I had to have Skin Cancer removed. In this photo you can see what it looked like and how big it was. I have had the sore on left arm for about 2 years. I was woking out in my roses one day and got pricked by a thorn. It never healed and this is what eventually develped. At first it looked somewhat like a small raised wart. Eventually it started to get bigger and somewhat scally and then started turning bright pink and when it started to itch and tingle that's when I decided to go have it checked. On the close up view you can see there is a little flaking. The surgery was not so bad they gave me a pain killing injection into the cancer site, then they used a scapel to cut the skin cancer out. They used a michroscope to look at the cancer to see if they had gotton it all, but they had to go back again and remove some more skin. It was very painless except the injection for pain. Even the healling was very painless. I was very surprised and gratefull. On Oct 14th I have to go back and have another one taken off of my right arm. That one looks completly different, I would not have ever thought that it was cancer but I went back and had my family Dr. froze 18 other spots that I supected might be and she did 3 more Biopsies and 1 of them came back positive. I will check to see If I have a photo of that one as well. So you can see what it looks like. I know these are not the regular kind of photos I put on here but Maybe these will help someone else to know what to look for.
Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health
Kevin started Dental School in July. Here he is taking his dental oath. Kevin has been in school for a few months now and he really likes it. He was lucky enough to have Mckenzie home for the summer so she was able to be there with us at his opening cerimony. We all toured the school with Kevin and Chrissy the day before and met a few of Kevin's new friends. We are so very proud of Kevin and wish him the best of luck with school.

Happy Fathers Day
I just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to the two men in my life. I am not only blessed with a wonderful husband but also a great son. They both take on their responsabilities as Father very seriously, showing great pride in there position as a parent and representing honor in their actions and respect for their families. They show love to us all in everything that they do. We know that we can count on them for anything. Glen, I commend you on the great job you did with our children, I am very proud of you and admire you so much. Kevin, I am pleased to see that you have followed in your father's footsteps and to know that you too have been faithful to your daughter and shown her the strength and dillagence it takes to keep a family together even when they're apart. She will always know our love and famliy. Thanks guys for doing a GREAT Job.
